: We were first one to build a Blind Temperature controller with a thermocouple reverse protection.

: Working with the 1st processor we hard learned the need of a watchdog timer and implemented it when it was not available elsewhere.

: Obviating the need of trimming pot, developed and implemented the concept of digital calibration.

: In a process instrument, we made all our inputs fault protected upto 240V AC/Dc including 4-20 mA input and 24 V Dc output.

: Developed a IGBT based 0-160V/100 Amps power supply with a rise time of < 10µSec. A paper on which appeared in SOFE

: Developed IGBT Driver with true current sensing & high speed gate inhibition to effectively demonstrate that with normal minimal inductance Vcedsat never gets triggered.

: Successfully build a subsystem of 1100V/135 Amps switched power module (SPM) as a building block for 0-80 kV/135 A HV supply.

: Partnered ER & DCI (currently CDAC) & IISc Bangalore in manufacturing of India’s first 3-level STATCOM of 500 kVA.

: Build the world’s largest inverter of 12,000 Amps; 0-100 Hz random for a research organization. Not only this, but we achieved a current rate of change of 1.7 MA/Sec

: Probably the world’s first temperature controller which will “Auto Sense” the input type ( J/K/Pt-100)
